Welcome to CappyIQ! These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of CappyIQ (the "App"), a reading adventure game for kids featuring our mascot, Cappy the capybara. By using the App, you (or your parent/guardian, if you're a kid using this) agree to these Terms.

1. What CappyIQ Is

CappyIQ is a browser-based story game designed to help kids practice reading. Some locations and story content are written by us ahead of time; other parts of the story may be generated automatically using AI.

AI-generated content notice. Some story content in CappyIQ is generated by an AI system. That AI is instructed to keep everything it writes age-appropriate for kids. AI systems can still make mistakes. If you or your child see anything in the story that feels offensive, scary, or otherwise not age-appropriate, please flag it or email us at support@cappyiq.com right away. We review reports and remove or fix flagged content as soon as possible.

2. Who Can Use CappyIQ

CappyIQ is designed for kids, and we expect many of our players to be children using the App with a parent or guardian's knowledge. If you're a parent or guardian, you're responsible for supervising your child's use of the App and for agreeing to these Terms and our Privacy Notice on their behalf.

3. Acceptable Use

Please use CappyIQ the way it's meant to be used: for reading and playing. Don't try to disrupt the App, access it in unauthorized ways, or use it to do anything illegal or harmful to others.

4. Content and Ownership

The CappyIQ name, the Cappy character, and the app's authored story content belong to us. Story content generated by AI for your specific playthrough is provided for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment of the App.

5. Reporting a Problem

If any story content — AI-generated or otherwise — seems inappropriate, incorrect, or unsafe for kids, please tell us. Use the in-app flag option where available, or email support@cappyiq.com with as much detail as you can (what story, what happened, roughly when). We treat these reports as a priority and aim to review and remove flagged content promptly.

6. No Warranty

CappyIQ is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the experience fun, safe, and working correctly, but we can't guarantee the App or its content will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly age-appropriate in every instance — which is exactly why the flagging process in Section 5 exists.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as CappyIQ grows and changes (for example, if we add accounts or new features). We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
