CappyIQ is built for kids, and we've tried to keep this notice short enough that a parent can read the whole thing over morning coffee.
Right now, CappyIQ doesn't have user accounts and doesn't send your data to a server. Everything is stored locally, in your own browser:
This information stays on your device (in browser localStorage) and is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data or using a different device/browser will remove it.
CappyIQ does not run ads, does not use tracking cookies, and does not sell or share personal information with third parties. If we ever add analytics to understand how the App is used, it will be privacy-friendly (no cookies, no personal identifiers) and this notice will be updated first.
CappyIQ is designed with kids in mind, so we intentionally collect as little as possible — currently just a first name typed locally into your own browser, which never leaves your device. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what's described here. If you're a parent and have concerns about anything CappyIQ stores or does, email us at support@cappyiq.com and we'll help.
We may eventually add optional accounts (for example, to save progress across devices). If we do, we'll only collect what's needed to make that feature work (like an email address), we'll say so clearly before it happens, and we'll update this notice with the details.
Since everything today lives in your browser, you're always in control: clearing your browser's site data for CappyIQ deletes your saved progress and player name completely.
If how we handle data changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
